Nothing About Us-Without Us

What is Self Advocacy?

Self advocacy is the ability to speak up for yourself and the things that are important to you. It means you know your rights and responsibilities, and can make your own choices and decisions that affect your life.

Our Mission Statement

We support people with disabilities to speak up for themselves and others;

We encourage people to learn about their rights;

We strive for an accessible community;

We want to bring more understanding to the barriers, mentally, physically, socially and intellectually of someone with a disability.

We Believe continues to look for interested people who share in its goals for inclusivity, accessibility, and teaching others to advocate for themselves and those around them. More members will help self advocacy grow stronger and have more voices.
