This position will provide supervision and support to residents living in a group setting in all aspects of daily living including personal care, domestic skills, home maintenance, money management, use of community businesses and resources, recreation, medical, medications and safety. Assists with the maintenance of the work site. Keeps up to date on agency information, policies and guidelines. Practices fiscal responsibility to residents and agency. Maintains accurate client and agency records, follows reporting procedure and assumes other administrative duties. Promotes safety and well being of self and others. Acts as a liaison between internal and external contacts. Maintains professionalism in all aspects of duties. Maintains current standing in required courses. Float staff will provide support to adult developmental programs during times when staff are on vacation, sick or otherwise. These three float positions will be full time and will work 32 hours per week beginning in June for a six month period.
- DSW or equivalent
- First Aid/CPR certificate
- NVCI certificate
- French language proficiency would be an asset
- Valid Driver’s License and access to one’s own vehicle
