Provides supervision and support to residents living in a group home setting in all aspects of daily living including personal care, domestic skills, home maintenance, money management, use of community businesses and resources, recreation, medical, medications and safety. Participates in the planning process for residents and assists in development of strategies to achieve the plan. Assists with the maintenance of the work site. Keeps up to date on agency information, policies and guidelines. Practices fiscal responsibility to residents and agency. Maintains accurate client and agency records, follows reporting procedures, and assumes other administrative duties. Promotes safety and well being of self and others. Acts as a liaison between internal and external contacts. Maintains professionalism in all aspects of duties. Maintains current standing in required courses.
This is a part time night position working an average of 15.75 hours per week. There is a two week rotating schedule as follows (subject to change due to program needs):
Week 1 Sat 21:00 – 9:00
Week 2 Thurs 23:00 – 8:30 Fri 23:00 – 9:00
- DSW or equivalent
- Current First Aid/CPR certificate
- Current NVCI certificate
- French language proficiency would be an asset
The work location and shift rotation is subject to change based on program needs.
