The ReUse Centre is a division of E3 Community Services. The store began operating in 1995 and has grown to be a successful retail outlet due to the tremendous support received by the residents of Collingwood and surrounding areas. It provides a valuable waste management alternative to the community and it serves as a training ground for people with developmental challenges.
The ReUse Centre recycle many used items that are donated and in saleable condition including furniture, electronics, books, games, dishes and many other household accessories. A free pick-up service is offered to donors living within the area. A flat fee is charged to customers requesting delivery of their purchases.
For the customer who craves a “one-of-a-kind” purchase, a Silent Auction area offering antiques and other hard-to-find goods is definitely worth a visit. A customer never knows what he/she will find as it is always a unique shopping experience!
Several people receiving support from E3 are given the opportunity to enhance their skills by working in this community-based retail setting.
Store revenue helps E3 to support our many residences and day programs to purchase items not covered through our regular funding sources. Examples include: new roofs, vehicles, equipment and resources.
The staff of the Centre and the E3 Board of Directors wish to express gratitude to everyone who has contributed used goods and for their continued patronage.
