E3 Community Services’ Employment Supports are designed to support individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities in finding competitive employment. The support assists both job seekers and local businesses in the South Georgian Bay area.
For Job Seekers
- On-the-job Support and Training: Employment consultants work with individuals to ensure they understand and are comfortable with their job tasks.
- JobPath Program: A pre-employment training program that includes volunteering, job readiness, and interview preparation.
- Résumé Writing and Interview Skills: Support with job applications, résumé writing, and interview preparation.
- Ongoing Educational Seminars: Training opportunities for personal and professional development.
For Employers
- Assistance in Filling Employment Needs: Help match employers with dedicated, long-term employees.
- Ongoing Support: Continued communication and support throughout the employment process, including training and job readiness assistance.
The program also facilitates skill-building volunteering opportunities, helping participants develop transferable skills and engage with the community through meaningful relationships and activities.
